Vasudha is a Partner in Dispute Resolution practice with a special focus on Securities Regulatory work. She has over 16 years of experience. Before joining the firm, Vasudha was a Deputy General Manager with SEBI.
Handled several portfolios in various departments at SEBI, including (i) Quasi-judicial Cell; (ii) Office of Whole Time Member; (iii) Recovery and Refund Department; (iv) Enquiry and Adjudication Department; and (v) Enforcement Department.
Extensive experience in quasi-judicial proceedings before SEBI and handling a varied portfolio of cases including matters relating to: (i) SEBI (PFUTP) Regulations; (ii) SEBI (Broker) Regulations, (iii) SEBI (PIT) Regulations; (iv) SEBI (SAST) Regulations.
Handled portfolio pertaining to SEBI’s recovery and refund powers.
Defence of various orders of SEBI and Adjudicating Officers before SAT and has briefed Senior Advocates and Counsel for appearances before various fora. She has also worked as the officer in charge under the Nodal Officer for HPAC for Settlement matters.
Wide ranging knowledge of varied proceedings before SAT and SEBI, including Adjudication, Enquiry, Settlement and 11/11B Proceedings.
