She advises international and domestic corporations on strategic employment issues, including, senior management exits, retrenchment, downsizing of labour force, closures, union strategy and handling of large transactions involving acquisitions of businesses with a large employee base. Clients appreciate that she is “deeply involved in the process” and highlight her understanding of the client’s business as a strength.
Rashmi is also sought out by board of directors of companies, to advice on various corporate governance matters, structuring of incentive packages, exit settlements, stock option schemes and other retention structures. She has conducted many high profile and sensitive investigations and is an expert on advising companies on how to deal with sexual harassment at the workplace.
Rashmi also advises many clients on the changing landscape of employee engagement structures and preparing for the new Labour Codes.
Her clients cover a broad range of sectors including IT/ITES, banking & financial services, manufacturing, and includes some of the largest players in industry.
Rashmi has been sought out to conduct webinars and industry wide sessions on key employment topics and has written many articles and been quoted by various publications as an expert in her field.
In addition to her role as a seasoned practitioner in the Employment Practice of the Firm, Rashmi also heads the South Offices (Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad) of the Firm and is responsible for the over-all management of these offices.
