Professional Experience

  • Wockhardt Limited in relation to the sale of its generic formulations business to Dr Reddy’s Laboratories Limited (2020).
  • Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) and Unilever PLC in connection with the merger of Glaxo Smithkline Consumer Healthcare Limited into HUL. This was the largest M&A transaction in the Indian FMCG space in 2018.
  • Wockhardt Limited, a listed pharma company, in connection with the sale of its nutrition business to the Danone Group.
  • IndusInd Bank Limited (IBL) in connection with the merger of Bharat Financial Inclusion Limited into IBL. This was the largest M&A transaction in the Indian Bank-MFI space in 2017.
  • SSG Capital in connection with a co-investment to acquire a minority stake in GMR Airports Limited. This was the largest M&A transaction in the Indian airports space in 2019.
    Blackstone Group in connection with acquisition of a controlling stake in Aadhar Housing Finance Limited from DHFL. This was the largest financial services acquisition transaction in 2019.
  • Adani Group in connection with the acquisition of 100% equity stake in Dhamra Port Company Limited from the existing shareholders L&T IDPL and Tata Steel. This was the largest M&A transaction in the Indian ports sector.
  • Adcock Group in connection with the sale of 100% equity stake in its Indian subsidiary Adcock Ingram healthcare Private Limited to Samara Capital.
