He regularly appears in arbitrations, courts (including Supreme Court, High Courts, District & Sessions Court) and Tribunals (NCLT, DRT, TDSAT, CGIT) across the country.

Monark’s areas of interest include arbitration, insolvency and bankruptcy laws, private client practise disputes and white collar crime. He has advised and represented clients in criminal proceedings including corporate frauds and quashing of criminal complaints before the High Court(s).

He handled the telecom 2G-scam related disputes including the 2G telecom license cancellation dispute before the Supreme Court of India and other telecom regulatory disputes before the TDSAT/Delhi High Court/Supreme Court of India.

  • Acted for a leading newspaper entity in disputes pertaining to oppression and mismanagement of the company and trademark disputes across forums at New Delhi and Madhya Pradesh.
  • Acted for and advised leading IT services company based out of Hyderabad as well as telecom company in criminal proceedings and white collar crime matters.
  • Acted for a leading Australian Bank in criminal proceedings instituted at Bikaner, Rajasthan.
  • Acted for a leading PSU in infrastructure related domestic ad hoc arbitration proceedings.
  • Acted for a leading International dredging company based out of Netherlands in ad hoc International commercial arbitration proceedings.
  • Acted for leading telecom companies in the 2G telecom license cancellation proceedings before the Supreme Court of India.
  • Acted for telecom companies before the Telecom Disputes and Appellant Tribunal in regulatory disputes including the AGR issue, One Time Spectrum Usage Charge dispute, release and invocation of the Bank Guarantees, Port Charges/Access Charges etc.
  • Acted for and advised leading hospitals on dispute pertaining to free patient treatment to indigent/poor persons before the Delhi High Court.
