Bose Varghese

Mr. Varghese advises and helps clients navigate the ESG space that is rapidly transforming under new regulations.

He joined CAM after a stellar 7-year long ESG career in Infosys, where he scripted the ascent of Infosys as a global leader in ESG. Under his leadership, Infosys won the ‘UN Climate Action Award’ in 2019 and became carbon neutral in 2020. Mr. Varghese has over 30 years of advisory and industry experience split between the US and India. He had previously held the roles of founder-director of Vie2sustain Consulting LLP and head of climate change and sustainability practice of EY in Bangalore. His expertise includes ESG governance, ESG and environmental regulations, ESG/climate risk and strategy, sustainable finance, ESG disclosure frameworks and assurance, ESG rating, supply chain ESG, the Paris Agreement related climate action (Net Zero, Science Based Targets, Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), Carbon Market, etc.), and others.

Mr. Varghese has been active in national and international climate policy and advocacy and has written numerous articles on ESG topics.
