Abhishek’s recent key experiences include advising SASF and YES Bank Limited in relation to assignment of their respective stressed assets portfolio to Omkara ARC and JC Flowers ARC Private Limited. Abhishek regularly advises National Asset Reconstruction Company Limited and several other leading ARCs and funds for various stressed asset acquisitions. He was also involved in advising the Indian Banks’ Association, ARC Association and some leading banks in revising the standard drafts of the Model Assignment Agreement and ARC Trust Deed.

Abhishek is one of the key lawyers in the insolvency law space with a vast range of experience in handling several marquee deals under the IBC such as (i) the CIRPs of Essar Steel India Limited, Jet Airways Ltd, ABG Shipyard Ltd and Jyoti Structures Ltd., (ii) filing of insolvency applications in cases such as Innoventive Industries Ltd and Videocon Industries Ltd. and (iii) advising Adani Ports and SEZ Ltd in successful acquisition of Karaikal Ports Pvt Ltd.

Abhishek has also served as a secondee with the Financial Restructuring Group of Milbank LLP (London).
