Professional Experience

  • State Bank of India in connection with a proposed rupee financing to National Fertilisers Limited for upgradation/energy efficiency projects across NFL’s manufacturing facilities.
  • Advised a consortium of 21 Indian lenders led by State Bank of India in connection with financing of INR 22,800 crore for a 6 MTPA Greenfield steel plant being set up by Tata Steel Limited in the State of Odisha. This is the largest project finance transaction till date in India.
  • IDBI Bank, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India, Canara Bank and IFCI Limited in relation to restructuring of Ratnagiri Gas & Power Private Limited (formerly Dabhol Power Project) to demerge its LNG business into a separate company and restructuring of debts for LNG and power businesses.
  • Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR) India in connection with a loan to Bhartiya City Developers Private Limited.
  • Altico Capital India Limited in connection with a proposed financing to Logix Group for residential and commercial real estate developments in Noida.
