Aashima has over thirteen years of experience as a securities and capital markets lawyer, having advised corporates, underwriters, and investment funds on some of the largest domestic and international securities offerings.

She is recognized as a specialized securities law advisor for new age technology companies and consumer facing companies and also has extensive experience in advising on public fundraises by NBFCs and larger corporates.

She routinely advises on share sales through the bulk/ block mechanism on stock exchanges and has also advised on certain U.S. and Singapore focused listings for leading corporates in the infrastructure, hospitals and digital payments space.

IPOs in the new age technology and consumer facing space include Zomato Limited, PB Fintech, Honasa Consumer Limited, Nazara Technologies, Ecom Express and MapmyIndia.
Public fundraises by NBFCs include Home First Finance, Fedbank Financial Services, and by large corporates including Hyundai Motor India, Dr. Lal PathLabs and DLF Limited.
Advised investors including IFC and SoftBank in multiple offers for sale as part of initial public offerings.
Advised the lead managers on the first of its kind QIP comprising an issuance of three instruments (equity shares, non–convertible debentures and warrants) by HDFC Limited.
Advised the brokers on share sales through the bulk/ block mechanism on stock exchanges, including by Cintra INR Investments B.V. in IRB Infrastructure Developers Limited, the BPCL Investment Trust of BPCL treasury shares, Softbank in One97 Communications, Lighthouse Fund in FSN E-commerce, Sojitz Corporation in Samvardhana Motherson and Timken Singapore Pte. Ltd in Timken India Limited.
